WALKS . . .

KONDILILLA FALLS - drops 90m into the Rainforest Valley below. Kodalilla got its name from an Aboriginal word meaning "rushing water". Try the 2.4km walk to the top of the falls, The Picnic Creek Circuit. Or the Rock Pools Walk 3.2km return, where you can have a swim.

MARY CAIRNCROSS PARK - one of the best remnants of subtropical rainforest in Australia with absolutely amazing views across the Glasshouse Mountains. There is a 1.2km walk through the forest, an abundance of native birds and the Education Centre is worth a visit. (Wheel chair friendly).

MAPLETON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - cascading 120m over a series of black basalt rocks, Mapleton Falls plunges into the cool rainforest gorge below. Spectacular views of the gorge and beyond to the Obi Obi Valley. Try out the Wompoo Track 1.3kms return.

NOOSA NATIONAL PARK - bushwalk through the beautiful Noosa National Park, flora & fauna. An extensive network of walking trails will take us through pockets of rainforest to open coastal scrub, to breathtaking ocean views from the sea cliffs at Noosa Heads.

GLASSHOUSE MOUNTAINS - the eroded remnants of volcanoes approximately 25-27 million years old. There are many walking tracks scattered throughout the Glasshouse Mountains, ranging from easy, moderate to challenging. There is an abundance of wildlife living here, koalas, goannas, echidnas, grey kangaroo and native birds.
